May 24th, Saturday @ 9:30am - Beginner Blowing Workshop

Come down to the new Studio & Co. to try your hand at working with hot glass! This class is designed for the glass enthusiast who wants to make a couple pieces and have a more hands-on experience. In this introductory workshop, students will have the chance to gather, apply colour, and blow/shape their own unique pieces of glass. Students can pick from a selection of colours and objects to make two pieces each, and class will be run in small groups. Your instructor Danielle will start with a brief safety talk and demonstration before working with students one-on-one. Students will work together to blow and shape their finished pieces with the help of an instructor. All materials and tools will be provided. Class size is limited to three students and will run 2.5-3 hours.

*Participants must be 13 years of age or older and accompanied by a legal guardian for the duration of class if under 18. Younger students may be accepted at instructor/parent discretion with prior conversation before booking. 

BEFORE CLASS:
After your purchase, you will get a follow up email with a PDF review of everything you need to know before & after your visit to The Studio & Co. Plan on arriving about 5-10 minutes before class start time. Please wear NATURAL fibers and close toed shoes. Bring a water bottle and a snack. We can't wait to blow glass with you!

AFTER CLASS:
Your pieces will need to cool down overnight before they are ready to take home. Pieces can be available for pick up during Life.Work Store hours 48 hrs after class or they will be shipped to you within 1-2 weeks, postage within VIC included. Out of state shipping may incur extra charge at the end of class. Your instructor will confirm your shipping address before your departure.

REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY: 
Any changes made to your booking less than two weeks from class may result in a partial refund or a rescheduling fee. Less than a week's notice, we are unable to offer a refund. We also understand life happens! Please do get in touch if any changes need to be made.
